- This monologue is near the top end of my playing age and contrasts with 'Glass Eels' which is a younger character.
- I can relate to the text because of cirtain themes like how Adriana feels a lack of loyalty and cannot trust people. This piece really interests me because it is fun to play and explore, because she is such a forward character, in a sense that she is not scared to say what she thinks and feels.
- The emotional journey of this piece shows a variety, starting with anger and frustration, then moves on to being scornful and criticle, followed by mockery and rediculing the person she is speaking to, and finally she is almost despirate and tries to convince the other character. Therefore this piece would show a range of different emotions as a monologue and contrasts to 'Glass Eels, this is why i chose it.
- This piece moves my acting skills, by a change in posture because Adriana is of a high court class, the use of imagination to create another character on stage, showing tension physically and vocally, and how I use my body, with hand actions to show her frustration, and my voice through articulation and breath control to show her status and emphasis her anger.
- My research helped with developing and creating a character by reading the whole play to see how she acts and reacts and reading reviews helped me to see what is good and what isn't in howshe is played. Seeing how she contrasts to other women in historical plays, it captured me into developing her further to be more bold.
